NetVision Inc., the world's leading provider of network directory administration solutions, Wednesday announced that Electronic Data Systems (EDS (Electronic Data Systems, Plano, TX, www.eds.com) Founded in 1962 by H. Ross Perot (independent candidate for the President of the U.S. in 1992), EDS is the largest outsourcing and data processing services organization in the country. ) has signed a master software licensing agreement (MSLA MSLA minimum school leaving age

The agreement was prompted by the need of a large EDS customer to migrate 65,000 users from Novell's NetWare Directory Services See eDirectory.

"Large-scale migrations are quickly becoming a fact of life at many companies, and EDS is leading the charge to help companies smooth the transition," said Todd Lawson, president of NetVision.

"As the only tool available that helps migrate user/group accounts and passwords while facilitating coexistence between NDS and AD, Synchronicity provides many distinct and measurable benefits to companies migrating to Windows 2000. NetVision is thrilled to be validated by an industry leader as forward-thinking and customer-focused as EDS."

Its ability to synchronize new systems with existing enterprises make Synchronicity a valuable migration management tool.
