NetSoft Wins Distinguished Novell YES Certification For NS/Router and NS/Portfolio For AS/400 Products.

IRVINE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 28, 1997--NetSoft, an international developer of manageable PC-to-host connectivity solutions, Monday announced that Novell Inc. has awarded the prestigious YES Certification to its core AS/400 line of products.

NetSoft's NS/Router, already the industry standard, and NS/Portfolio for AS/400 are now identified as being compatible with all current and future versions of Novell IntranetWare. Novell's worldwide customers can choose NetSoft's products with added confidence as they are now proven host access solutions for Novell networks.

The YES designation is granted only to products that have passed the rigorous testing of Novell Labs. Key Labs, an independent testing facility, was contracted to conduct this certification for Novell. NS/Router and NS/Portfolio were each measured against the strict NetWare and Novell NWSAA guidelines for building intranets.

"Novell and NetSoft have a long history of providing our mutual customers with innovative products, and superior support and service," said Terry Mullin, NetSoft's vice president of business development and product marketing.

"The YES certification proves that NS/Router and NS/Portfolio products meet the high standard of excellence established by Novell. This reinforces our commitment to provide customers with the tools they need to build safe and secure network solutions that allow business users to access information they need to get their jobs done accurately and quickly."

"NetSoft's NS/Router and NS/Portfolio products easily passed the strict guidelines we have established," said Scott Wells, director of Developer Services at Novell. "We are pleased that NetSoft's offerings are now among the elite group of solutions that Novell customers have come to depend upon for their Internet/intranet needs."
