DS Expert was designed to help network professionals prevent costly network downtime through real-time monitoring of the NDS replication engine and tree integrity. DS Expert's advanced technology alerts network professionals to problems before they become crises and directs them immediately to the source of the problem.

DS Expert is the only network management solution available today that provides real-time, proactive NDS monitoring and troubleshooting. DS Expert is a distributed service monitor for NDS which provides proactive analysis of 20 critical conditions, real-time SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) A widely used network monitoring and control protocol. Data are passed from SNMP agents, which are hardware and/or software processes reporting activity in each network device (hub, router, bridge, etc.  alerts over 100 unique statistics on NDS activity and multi-server trace analysis.
