NetManage Releases 32-Bit XoftWare Software; 30 Day Free Trial for Windows, NT and Windows 95 Platforms.

XoftWare 4.0 for PowerPC is the newest member of NetManage's enterprise desktop solutions and merges both PowerPC and Windows NT (Windows New Technology) A 32-bit operating system from Microsoft for Intel x86 CPUs. NT is the core technology in Windows 2000 and Windows XP (see Windows). Available in separate client and server versions, it includes built-in networking and preemptive multitasking.  advanced system architecture. XoftWare 4.0 for PowerPC features the Windows 95 user interface look and feel and features an extensive suite of remote file management and connectivity applications.

XoftWare 4.0 contains a comprehensive set of 32-bit utilities and applications including: Backing Store and Save Unders in Concurrent Window Manager mode, advanced graphic performance, full X Consortium X11R6 compliance, XIE (X Image Extension) Extensions to the X Window system that enhance its graphics capability. It allows the desktop terminal or PC (the server) to retrieve various types of compressed images from the client and be able to manipulate them.  imaging support and other ease of use and performance enhancements. In addition, XoftWare's new user interface makes it the easiest to use PC X server available in the market today.
