Lavazza's headquarters includes both administrative offices and operating units and is supported by regional branch offices throughout Italy. The company has used RUMBA as its 3270 mainframe emulation package for desktop host access for many years. RUMBA now allows more than 150 remotely-located salespeople and other remote workers plus several hundred workers located at Lavazza's headquarters, and in regional branch offices, to quickly and securely access host information from corporate mainframes via Web browser.
