NetManage, Inc. (Nasdaq:NETM), a leading supplier of e-business access and application integration solutions, today announced OnWeb(R) Transaction Integrator (OnWebTI), a complementary connectivity plug-in for the Microsoft Host Integration Server 2000.

OnWebTI provides data and application integration services that enable enterprises to leverage their legacy host applications and rapidly develop and deploy new enterprise-class distributed applications. OnWebTI is based on NetManage's proven OnWeb technology and is specifically adapted for the Microsoft Host Integration Server 2000 environment.

OnWebTI works with Microsoft Host Integration Server 2000 to add to the range of legacy systems that can be integrated with new Microsoft Windows 2000 and Windows NT-based applications. OnWebTI enables developers using Host Integration Server 2000 as an integration engine to connect to non-distributed transaction-ready, screen-based host applications that are accessed through 3270 and 5250 terminals. This expands the number of accessible host transactions beyond those already provided by Host Integration Server 2000. OnWebTI is designed to provide a cost-effective and low-risk way to leverage additional host-based transaction data and applications in new enterprise applications without requiring any changes to host environments.
