Under the terms of the agreement, NetLive will provide all technological aspects for the project, including videoconferencing, electronic commerce, scheduling, billing and World Wide Web page design and maintenance. NetLive will also retain therapists, develop a referral network for on-line patients and market and promote the service. The company said Dr. Masters will personally supervise all substantive aspects of the project, including the recruiting, training and hiring of therapists. In conjunction with the live, videoconferenced therapy service, NetLive and Dr. Masters will jointly develop a free, on-line library of sex therapy literature, which will include selections from Dr. Master's extensive writings on the topic. Laurence Rosen, NetLive's president, stated, "This is an extensive project which we expect will be well received by Internet users. NetLive pointed out that while the agreement contains an exclusivity clause for both parties during its term, the agreement expressly permits either party to engage in discussions with Dr. Masters' former co-author, Dr. Virginia Johnson, and/or the Masters & Johnson Institute regarding the possibility of their joint endorsement of this project.
