NetIQ. (Migration Tools).NetIQ, have released two new products in its migration product line designed to simplify and accelerate the migration to Windows 2000 and Exchange 2000. Exchange Migrator mi·grate intr.v. mi·grat·ed, mi·grat·ing, mi·grates 1. To move from one country or region and settle in another. 2. facilitates the transfer of Exchange 5.5 mailboxes, distribution lists, public folders and calendar objects to Exchange 5.5 and Exchange 2000 targets. Migration Assessor is a configuration assessment and reporting tool that helps assess the computing computing - computer environment in migrations to Windows 2000, Active Directory and Exchange 2000. Combined with NetIQ's other migration products-Domain Migration Administrator, Server Consolidator and NetIQ Netware A family of network operating systems from Novell that support Windows, Macintosh, DOS and OS/2 clients. Unix client support is available from third parties. In the early 1990s, NetWare was the largest installed base of LAN operating systems (see Novell). Migrator-the addition of the two new products allows NetIQ to offer a set of tools for migrating to Windows 2000 and Exchange 2000. www.netiq.com |
