NetIQ Corp. (Nasdaq:NTIQ), a leading provider of Systems & Security Management and Web Analytics solutions, today announced a technology alliance with AK Computer Services Ltd. As a UK-based technology partner of NetIQ, AK Computer Services has been granted a worldwide license to provide ongoing development and support for the following AppManager(R) modules:

-- AppManager for Microsoft BizTalk Server
-- AppManager for Microsoft Commerce Server
-- AppManager for Microsoft ISA
-- AppManager for Microsoft Message Queue Server

-- AppManager for Microsoft Transaction Server
-- AppManager for Microsoft Windows Load Balancing Services
-- AppManager for Sybari Antigen for Exchange
-- AppManager for Trend Micro ScanMail
Through May 28, 2004, existing customers of these modules should continue to contact NetIQ for technical support. After May 28, 2004, these modules will be re-branded as Gestio Modules for AppManager, and will be sold and supported by AK Computer Services and its authorized channel partners.

AppManager's modular architecture allows application-specific modules to be easily developed independent of the underlying agent and management infrastructure. The Gestio modules will run on top of the same agent and management infrastructure as all other AppManager modules, including those developed directly by NetIQ.
