NetIQ Corporation (Nasdaq:NTIQ), a leading provider of e-business infrastructure management software, today announced the availability of NetIQ AppAnalyzer, a Web-based analysis and reporting tool for Microsoft Exchange 5.5 and Exchange 2000 Server. AppAnalyzer provides comprehensive information about Exchange 5.5 and Exchange 2000 services across the enterprise, including message traffic analysis, end-to-end message delivery times, historical and current mailbox and public folder storage data, and message content notification.

AppAnalyzer delivers Exchange Server usage information that allows IT personnel to document enterprise-wide message delivery performance, understand system usage trends, and plan for system enhancements and implement chargeback or cost recovery policies. Because AppAnalyzer can collect and summarize months of data, trends can be established and forecasted quickly and effectively. AppAnalyzer also provides useful information that spans from the IT managers who are responsible for keeping the systems up and running to the business managers who want to understand more about their e-mail-based customer contact.

The software supports unattended, automatic data collection and report generation, using wizards for simplified setup.
