NetCologne Selects ZoneAlarm to Secure ISP Customers on the 'Net; High-Profile German Internet Service Provider to Offer Consumers the Award-Winning ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite for Proactive Internet Protection.

BALTIMORE, Md. & KOLN, Germany -- Zone Labs(R), a Check Point Software Technologies(R) company (Nasdaq:CHKP), today announced that NetCologne, one of Germany's most successful regional carriers, will incorporate the ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite as part of a new security-minded Internet access subscription service.

NetCologne will market the service to its base of more than 230,000 DSL subscribers in its region. Under the agreement, subscribers will be provided with the full version of the ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite, including the world's most popular firewall, powerful proactive anti-spyware and antivirus features, parental controls, anti-spam, privacy features and more.

The ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite is the most advanced security solution available today, providing comprehensive, proactive protection against new and emerging spyware, hacker attacks, identity thieves and viruses. The suite features an innovative firewall-based behavioral defense system called the OSFirewall(TM) which monitors the behavior of programs to guard against spyware and kernel-level threats. Additionally, the ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite includes antivirus and anti-spyware features with automatic updates, parental control functions and a powerful ID lock to aid in data protection.
