NeoPharm, Inc. Announces Results from 2006 Annual Meeting of Shareholders.


WAUKEGAN, Ill. -- NeoPharm, Inc. (Nasdaq:NEOL) today announced that the entire Board of Directors was re-elected by the Company's shareholders at today's 2006 Annual Meeting of Shareholders, to serve until the 2007 Annual Meeting of Shareholders.

The members of the NeoPharm Board of Directors are:

--Guillermo A. Herrera - President & CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board. , NeoPharm, Inc.

Additionally, at a regularly scheduled Board of Directors meeting that followed immediately after the Annual Meeting, the Board of Directors unanimously elected John N. Kapoor, PhD as non-executive Chairman of the Board, to serve until the Company's 2007 Annual Meeting of Shareholders. Dr. Kapoor has served as a Director on the Board since the Company was founded in 1990.
