NeoGenomics, Inc. Expands Into New Laboratory Facility.

:NOGN NOGN New Orleans Great Northern Railroad Company ) announced today that it has completed the expansion of its operations into a 2,300 square foot laboratory facility in a newly constructed industrial center located in Naples, Florida.

The new facility will accommodate the additional staff and cytogenetics cytogenetics /cy·to·ge·net·ics/ (-je-net´iks) the branch of genetics devoted to cellular constituents concerned in heredity, i.e. chromosomes.  laboratory equipment recently acquired by the Company. The lab is scheduled for inspection by state and national certification national certification Lab medicine A voluntary form of regulation that affirms that a person has the knowledge and skill to perform essential tasks in a given field, in the lab or in nursing; NC is granted by nongovernmental agencies or associations with  agencies at the end of April and will act as the Company's official cytogenetics, molecular biology molecular biology, scientific study of the molecular basis of life processes, including cellular respiration, excretion, and reproduction. The term molecular biology was coined in 1938 by Warren Weaver, then director of the natural sciences program at the Rockefeller  and genetic research laboratory.

In recent weeks, NeoGenomics has hired a qualified team of professionals who will be instrumental in the Company's mission of creating a state-of-the-art "Genostics" laboratory. Debra Angel, a state and nationally licensed Clinical Laboratory Scientist, recently joined the Company to serve as the Lab Manager and Interim Director of Marketing. Mrs. Angel was responsible for previously taking three Columbia Surgery Center laboratories from inception to inspection and subsequent certification. She has already established working relationships with area hospitals and medical organizations as part of the initial marketing of the Company's lab services. Additional staff members include Deborah Zalepa, a nationally certified Cytogenetic cytogenetic /cy·to·ge·net·ic/ (-je-net´ik)
