), one of the industry's leading network and protocol analyzers, offers powerful PC-based diagnostic and analysis capabilities at a fraction of the cost of dedicated hardware-based analyzers.

The new plug-in suite, NeoSuite 98, includes NeoGroup(TM), NeoScan(TM) and NeoStats(TM). NeoSuite 98 deploys Neo-Core's revolutionary associative processing technology to deliver performance typically more than 100 times faster than commonly available network analyzers.

NeoSuite 98 was developed in a joint collaboration between AG Group and Neo-Core's Network Management Products Division, which was recently established to develop and market Neo-Core Enabled(TM) software plug-in products targeted for the networking industry. NeoSuite 98 is the first in a series of Neo-Core Enabled software plug-in products, based on the patented Neo-Core hardware technology, targeted for system and resource tracking, network management, data security, data communications data communications, application of telecommunications technology to the problem of transmitting data, especially to, from, or between computers. In popular usage, it is said that data communications make it possible for one computer to "talk" with another. , database and pattern recognition applications.

"We were impressed when we witnessed the acceleration possible using these Neo-Core plug-ins on our EtherPeek product, which represents the state-of-the-art for network analyzers," states Mahboud Zabetian, AG Group's president. "Neo-Core's associative processing delivers performance and features that were not even remotely possible using the fastest computers in the past. Now EtherPeek for Windows has the power and flexibility to surpass dedicated network analyzer hardware solutions, using our convenient plug-in approach."

"We are extremely excited to debut the Neo-Core technology to the network industry with AG Group," states Timothy Dix, Neo-Core's Co-Chairman and CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board. . "Their plug-in approach fits perfectly with the delivery of products that use our core associative processing technology. NeoSuite 98 integrates well with EtherPeek. The integration is transparent to the end-user."

Neo-Core Enabled

The NeoSuite 98 is Neo-Core Enabled. Neo-Core Enabled products use Neo -Core's patented associative processing technology to vastly augment the speed and functionality of data/pattern matching, filtering, and sliding-window comparison at any data block granularity from the object level down to the individual binary bit stream. Neo-Core' associative processing eliminates data searches, sorting and indexing on computers, making every "find" or "match" operation a single step regardless of the amount or format of data. In contrast, traditional approaches typically require millions of operations to find a single match.

Neo-Core Enabled software products provide from 500,000 to one million associations per second running on Pentium-class machines. Neo-Core's speed is more than 100 times faster than existing methods, and many times faster than most dedicated hardware solutions using RISC-based and other parallel processors.

Chris Brandin, Neo-Core's co-chairman and chief technical officer, states, "Our associative processing technologies enable speed and functionality not obtainable with traditional sequential processing sequential processing - Running a single task to completion on a single processor, in contrast to parallel processing or multitasking.  even when used on a massively parallel See MPP.  basis."

NeoGroup: Real-Time Packet Accounting on Today's Analyzers

The NeoGroup plug-in for EPW addresses a market need that has gone virtually ignored until now. NeoGroup addresses a need that cannot be met on existing analyzer platforms without Neo-Core technology -- packet account-group accounting -- that permits charge-back and precise bandwidth capacity planning Determining the required future configuration of hardware and software for a network, datacenter or Web site. There are numerous capacity planning tools on the market used to monitor and analyze the performance of the current hardware and software. . Network managers can use NeoGroup to categorize and cross reference network traffic into arbitrarily complex organizational groups - such as projects, divisions, departments, buildings - and to display the resulting data in real time. Network managers may depict the accounting group cross-references graphically as a color chart color chart

or in standard text. NeoGroup can provide accounting data in real time for thousands of groups with millions of addresses per group, with no degradation to performance of other programs running on the system.

The NeoGroup "Options" dialog allows the user to import various formats of accounting information, including the industry-standard HP OpenView HP OpenView was a Hewlett Packard product range consisting of an extensive portfolio of network and systems management products. In 2007 the entire HP OpenView portfolio was rebranded under the strengthened HP Software name.  format. In other settings, network managers may select other types of addressing, such as ISO (1) See ISO speed.

Charts can be dragged-and-dropped into popular applications such as Microsoft's Power Point and Excel, and printed with any Windows-compliant printer.

NeoScan: Security Filtering that Finds Signatures Fast

NeoScan provides the capability to search for any number of strings or "signatures" of information in network traffic simultaneously, making it a very powerful tool for real-time security monitoring, including intrusion detection See IDS and IPS.  and e-mail content analysis.

Network managers can use NeoScan to find specific strings within an entire trace block of network traffic data or within a series of session "threads." These threads usually follow a specific protocol, such as FTP FTP

Network managers may use NeoScan to compare signatures in any combination of data format, such as ASCII values (text), phrases and binary strings. Matching signatures are displayed on a scroll list in the NeoScan Graphical User Interface graphical user interface (GUI)

Results can be exported to a text file or to comma-delimited format for import into databases and spreadsheets.

NeoStats: Analysis-at-a-Glance

NeoStats collects network/node/error statistics and displays them as full-color charts. The NeoStats "Options" GUI dialog allows the user to select which network metrics and statistics to display. Dozens of chart types can be displayed simultaneously, making analysis-at-a-glance possible. These displays are extremely time-consuming and impractical without Neo-Core's associative processing technology. NeoStats extends the functionality of EPW for real-time analysis and eliminates tedious batch post-processing.

"In the real world, the ability to associate and analyze vast amounts of network traffic at line speed is a huge advantage because it makes true real-time monitoring, debugging, tuning and security measurements viable as a practical matter," explains Robert Moore Robert Moore may refer to
