Ray Herrera, an employee with Davis Waste Removal, in Davis, California Davis is a city in Yolo County, California, United States. As of the local census, the city had a total population of 64,821 (60,308 in 2000). Davis is well known in the state of California as being a socially and environmentally conscious university, bike, and railroad town, home , was chatting with two neighbors in front of an apartment several doors down from his own on the evening of July 20. Their conversation was interrupted suddenly by the yelling yell

"She just came out yelling 'Help me, help me,'" Herrera told the Davis Enterprise.
