Rohde & Schwarz has announced the R&S FSP40 spectrum analyser, which is suitable up to the 40 GHz frequency range. This is ideal for measurement tasks in GSM, directional radio and radar areas of the electromagnetic spectrum. GPIB, Centronics, RS-232-C and Lan interfaces have been integrated into the FSP 40 package, and it features an RMS detector for fast and reproducible power measurements on digitally modulated signals in the frequency and time domain. The unit features a user-friendly colour display and a split-screen with separate settings and up to three traces per screen for ease of operation
