Medtech Insight has announced that nearly 30 emerging medical technology companies seeking investment and/or funding opportunities are confirmed to date to present at its largest medical technology strategic investment and partnering event for medical technology executives, the "Investment In Innovation (In3) Medical Device Summit." The In3 Medical Device Summit (www.meddevicesummit.com), being held June 21-23, 2006, at The Palace Hotel in San Francisco San Francisco (săn frănsĭs`kō), city (1990 pop. 723,959), coextensive with San Francisco co., W Calif., on the tip of a peninsula between the Pacific Ocean and San Francisco Bay, which are connected by the strait known as the Golden , is the most important venue of its kind for previewing cutting-edge emerging medical technology companies and engaging with the biggest dealmakers in the industry, including hundreds of senior executives from the device industry and healthcare investment community.

The In3 Medical Device Summit program will be unlike any other past Medtech Insight In3 event: it will feature a 50% larger speaker faculty, including 60+ early-stage medical technology industry presenters focused into 3 Tracks, with more VC and large company presentations. Attendees will also benefit from unique partnering software that allows attendees before and during the conference to access a wealth of searchable information on other attending companies, including detailed technical, non-confidential company and delegate profile information, a database of licensing opportunities provided by the attendees themselves, and the ability to communicate with and directly schedule meetings with prospective partners.

The conference will include presentations by more than 60 emerging medical technology companies in all, focused into 3 Tracks, each followed by break-out sessions in private conference rooms (the majority presenting for the first time at an In3 event). Track 1 will include Cardiovascular and Peripheral Vascular Diagnostics and Therapeutics companies; Track 2 is comprised of Orthopedics and Spine companies; and Track 3 includes Other High-Growth Technologies such as Drug Delivery, Gastrointestinal, General Surgery, Imaging, Metabolic Disorders, Neurology, Oncology, Ophthalmology, Tissue Engineering, and Uro/Gynecology, among others.
