Naumburg International Violin Competition.


Frank Huang, a student of MTNA MTNA Music Teachers National Association
MTNA Middle Tennessee Nursery Association (McMinnville, Tennessee) 
 member Donald Weilerstein, won the 2003 Walter W. Naumhurg International Violin Competition, receiving a $10,000 cash prize.

In addition Huang received two fully subsidized recitals at Lincoln Center's Alice Tully Hall The Alice Tully Hall is a concert hall that is part of the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts in New York City. It was created from the donations of Alice Tully, a chamber music benefactor and patron of the arts.  and twenty recital and orchestral appearances throughout the United States, among other prizes. He is a graduate of the Cleveland Institute of Music The Cleveland Institute of Music is one of the nation's leading independent music conservatories. It is located in the University Circle district of Cleveland, Ohio, United States and is overseen by president David Cerone and Catherine Jarjisian, interim dean.  (CIM).

Ayana Ninomiya took the second prize, winning $7,500. Sharon Roffman, also a student of Weilerstein and a CIM graduate, won third prize in the competition, receiving $5,000.
