Sanford, of Port Jefferson, NY, formerly Chief Auditor and Vice President of Administration and Finance with the New York State Compensation Insurance Rating Board (NYCIRB), to the position of Senior Technical Advisor to the firm.

During his 34-year career with the NYCIRB, Mr. Sanford served in a series of positions of increasing responsibility. The NYCIRB serves as the advisory rate service organization for workers compensation in NYS. All workers compensation insurers must send statistics to the NYCIRB, which compiles and evaluates data and proposes rate changes that are subject to the Insurance Department's prior approval.
