Is a joint effort of the University of Virginia's Miller Center of Public Affairs The Miller Center of Public Affairs is a non-partisan research institute affiliated with the University of Virginia.

Founded in 1975, the Miller Center is a leading public policy institution that serves as a national meeting place where engaged citizens, scholars, students,
 and the Century Foundation. Central to this website is a report that focuses on voting technology, ballot ballot, means of voting for candidates for office. The choice may be indicated on or by the ballot forms themselves—e.g., colored balls (hence the term ballot, which is derived from the Italian ballotta,  design, election administration, as well as legal and constitutional issues that came to a head in the 2000 presidential elections. Videos of public hearings, background information, op-ed articles, and research material are all archived on the website.
