The intention is to increase their ability to recognize and understand violence as well as the stereotypes that could lead them to tolerate it, to recognize their own power over the type of relationships they wish to have, and to put new-found knowledge into practice. For its ISO Loi project, which will develop a crime prevention guide for the Regional County Municipality of Acton in concert with counsellors who work with young people aged 9 to 15. For project U-GO L'Opera Rock, designed to enhance awareness about the problems of the world of street gangs among young people aged 12 to 20 in high schools, youth group homes and youth centres. The organization will give 34 performances in the Chaudiere-Appalaches region that will address such topics as violence, suicide, substance abuse and prostitution. The project will also include a preparatory guide to the play, a songbook, an Internet site and a disk that will include the music and songs from the play.
