By this term is understood all those things which merchants sell either wholesale or retail, as dry goods, hardware, groceries, drugs, &c. It is usually applied to personal chattels only, and to those which are not required for food or immediate support, but such as remain  giveaways, contests, product demos, a treasure hunt and other recreational activities as part of this innovative campaign.

The centerpiece of the promotion is "The Spot!", a massive compound placed on the beach in front of the nationally renowned Spinnaker Beach Club, which will feature live music and DJs in addition to hosting the many sponsored activities. "The Spot!" will also be represented at five satellite stations throughout the city. This event is the culmination of a campaign initiated last fall when the Panama City Beach Convention & Visitors bureau engaged YouthStream to be the sole marketing agent for Spring Break 2002.

Highlights of "The Spot!"
-- X Marks The Spot Treasure Hunt Everyday (Sunday through Friday) at "The
Spot!", YouthStream will be giving away $1000 in cash prizes plus other great
prizes from Panasonic, Calvin Klein and 1 800 CALLATT. On each Friday
YouthStream will hold the "X Marks The Spot Treasure Hunt" where one lucky
spring breaker will walk away with $5000! Students can pick up a game card at
"The Spot!" or one of five satellite huts located at the Days Inn/Ramada,
Holiday Inn Sunspree, Boardwalk Beach Resort, Islander Motel, and Applebee's.

-- The PS2 Lounge will feature the latest games on eight PlayStation 2 kiosks.
Spring breakers can lounge and catch some rays on the exclusive PS2 sundeck and
compete in our weekly PS2 tournaments for a chance to win great prizes, like
brand new PS2 games, t-shirts, and much more.

-- The Panasonic eWear Oasis includes an MP3-equipped lounge chair loaded with
the hottest beats of spring break. At the Panasonic eWear Pavilion, students
can demo the brand new 4-in-1 SD-AV player, which features a digital camera,
digital video camera, MP3 player, and voice recorder and is smaller than
cassette tape.

-- Calvin Klein puts their marketing might on its Junior's and Men's Jeans, as
well as Underwear, cK One fragrance, cK Swimwear, watches and eyewear. Jeans
will sponsor the main music stage for concerts and contests including an
exclusive branded VIP room - students gain entrance wearing their Calvins.
Calvin Klein model Travis will make public appearances on March 17. Students
will also get to experience Calvin Klein on the beach through massive product
giveaway, a CK branded beach pavilion and live stage contests that are in line
with the spirit of spring break. Also, Calvin Klein showcases the broad scope
of products as they wardrobe the YouthStream staff.

-- 7UP/Rock The Vote Step Up Tour will be rolling into PCB March 13-18,
bringing free 7UP and great merchandise, such as boxers, t-shirts, and CDs.
Students will also get a chance to step up on the 7UP stage and flex their
skills behind the mic.

-- BCBG Fragrance is hosting beach Twister at "The Spot!" BCBG will be the
sponsor with a Beach Team of models hitting the sand with free product and
prizes.

-- Cingular Wireless "On The Move" display at "The Spot!" will offer free calls
to spring breakers. On The Move is a mobile display featuring cell phones with
Cingular Wireless service that students can use to call home, friends or each
other on the beach. On The Move happens in Daytona Beach and South Padre Island
as well. Cingular Wireless also has a Scooter Team hitting the streets to
distribute free Cingular Wireless premiums.

-- "The Spot!" Will be giving out VIP passes to the Friday March 15 after-party
featuring live performances from Sugarcult and Atticus Fault for the world
premiere of "National Lampoon's Van Wilder", the new comedy from Artisan
Entertainment starring Tara Reid and Ryan Reynolds. The film's stars will also
be on-site for the event.

-- March 15- 25, the 1-800-CALL-ATT beach team will be at "The Spot!" all day
long and students can compete in wagon races and other fun events to win great
prizes.

-- Each week, surprise guests from The WB's best television shows will be at
"The Spot!" to participate in more exciting stage contests. Certain shows will
be shooting footage in Panama City Beach.

-- YouthStream will be distributing 50,000 units of "The X... A Soundtrack to
Spring Break" throughout the 4 weeks at different venues throughout PCB
(hotels, bars, clubs, retail, etc.). Featured artists include Atticus Fault,
Sound of Urchin, Local H, Custom, Sugarcult, Bent, Andrew W.K., Injected,
Maroon5, and Mad At Gravity. Record Labels represented include: RCA Records,
MCA Records, Artist Direct, Ultimatum Records, Palm Pictures, Octone Records,
Ministry of Sound, and Island Records.

-- A full-time DJ and emcee will play music and lead interactive contests
throughout the day while a jumbo video screen will be set up to broadcast live
