National Society of Black Engineers to Be Featured on 'The Profiles Series'.

 its international audience by "profiling the best and the brightest." NSBE, with more than 19,000 members, is the largest student-managed organization in the world. It will outline the academic and professional advancement and community improvement aspects of its mission during the program, which covers a variety of topics, from business to health and medicine to the environment.

Founded in 1975, NSBE (www.nsbe.org) has more than 300 chapters on college and university campuses and more than 80 Alumni Extension chapters and interest groups in the U.S., Africa, Asia, Canada, Europe and the Caribbean. NSBE's mission is to "increase the number of culturally responsible black engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally and positively impact the community."

Portions of the program were shot on location at NSBE World Headquarters in Alexandria, Va.

"The Profiles Series" is an independently produced program. Our mission is to create quality programming which will inform, educate and enlighten our viewers both nationally and internationally. We cover a variety of topics ranging from health and medical to business, and environmental.
