The network also booked record revenue of nearly $493 million in 2006, up 17.2% from the prior year. Furthermore, NPH had 2,628 affiliated financial professionals on its platform at year-end 2006, another record for the network.

"NPH reached new heights in 2006 - both in terms of financial performance and recruiting - due to our focus on enhancing service, technology and product offerings in order to meet the evolving needs of our representatives," said Shawn Dreffein, president of National Planning Holdings. "As the competition in the industry intensifies, NPH maintains a distinct advantage by providing a technology platform that eliminates paperwork, streamlines operations and strengthens compliance management. By helping representatives improve the efficiency of their practices, we are also making it easier for them to deliver a higher level of service to their clients."

On a quarterly basis, the NPH network booked revenue of more than $125 million during the fourth quarter, up 16.6% versus the fourth quarter of 2005. NPH also recorded fourth quarter 2006 sales of nearly $3 billion - an increase of more than 37% when compared to the same period in 2005.

NPH's performance also improved from the previous quarter, with a 7.6% increase in sales and a 6.3% increase in revenue over the third quarter of 2006, as well as a slight increase in representatives.

"Comparing both year-over-year and quarter-over-quarter results demonstrates consistent growth across the network," continued Dreffein. "We have worked hard to develop a significant degree of momentum and I am proud of the dedication each NPH employee has demonstrated over the last year. 2007 brings unique challenges as the industry continues to evolve, but I am confident that we have the right people, processes and technology in place to maintain our growth rates Growth Rates
