National Organization for Diversity in Sales and Marketing Presents Diversity Awards to Dr. Benjamin Chavis, Wachovia and Turner Broadcasting System.


RALEIGH, N.C. -- The National Organization for Diversity in Sales and Marketing (NODSM) and The Foundation for Diversity will host an awards gala "Through The Years: The Evolution of Inclusion," during the second annual Executive Leadership Summit, November 8-10, 2006, at the Westin Peachtree Plaza in Atlanta, Ga. The Summit brings a fresh and relevant perspective to the discussion of why diversity recruitment, diversity management and marketing to diverse segments of the population are win-win strategies for businesses, organizations and consumers.

The inaugural awards gala on Nov. 10, 2006, recognizes businesses and executives who have ensured diversity maintains a significant role in their respective organization's strategic planning Strategic planning is an organization's process of defining its strategy, or direction, and making decisions on allocating its resources to pursue this strategy, including its capital and people. , recruitment and community initiatives.
