The fourth edition of Legal but Out of Reach: Stories from the National Network of Abortion Funds An abortion fund is a non-profit organization that provides financing for abortions to indigent women who cannot afford the fees. Abortion funds are widespread in countries like the United States of America where there is no national healthcare plan and where health insurance shares the stories of women throughout the U.S. who have been helped to access safe, legal abortions thanks to the dedicated efforts of NNAF a growing organization of grassroots groups in almost every state which raise money for women who need abortions.
