National Instruments Hosts Annual Investor Conference at Company's NIWeek User Conference; Company Executives to Discuss NI's Expanding Market Opportunity in Design, Control and Test.

) hosts its Annual Investor Conference in Austin, Texas, today in conjunction with NIWeek, the company's annual user conference that serves as a key event for launching new products and meeting with customers and strategic partners. The investor conference kicks off with a keynote address by NI President and CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  Dr. James Truchard. Following the keynote, the NI management team will discuss the company's expanding market opportunity, product strategy and future opportunities in design, control and test. Investors also will hear about key drivers of growth, including new products such as LabVIEW 8.20 and the increasing performance and ease of use of commercial technologies such as PXI (PCI EXtensions for Instrumentation) A peripheral bus specialized for data acquisition and real time control systems. Introduced in 1997, PXI uses the CompactPCI 3U and 6U form factors and adds trigger lines, a local bus and other functions suited for measurement  Express and USB USB
