National Healthcare Logistics Adds Bob A. Simpson to its Board.

CLEVELAND -- The Board of Directors of National Healthcare Logistics (PINK SHEETS:NHLG) has named Robert (Bob) A. Simpson to its Board. Mr. Simpson is currently the President and CEO of both LeeSar, Inc., and Cooperative Services of Florida, two corporations in Fort Myers, FL, that are service providers to local integrated healthcare delivery systems or networks (IDNs).

NHLG was launched in 1997 as a company promoting a new design for the healthcare supply chain. NHLG is a service provider to multi-hospital systems commonly referred to as Integrated Healthcare Delivery Networks or "IDNs". The first "logistics model" for IDNs concentrated on reengineering the flow of all routinely purchased supplies by setting up a dedicated distribution facility that became the sole source of such supplies for the IDN healthcare facilities. By so doing, NHLG provided a vehicle that made supply replenishment vastly more efficient and provided cost cutting opportunities that were thought unattainable. LeeSar was the very first project for NHLG, beginning back in 1998, and continuing its mission to the current day to serve its prestigious hospital systems or IDNs that created LeeSar in 1998. LeeSar is a cooperative owned by Lee Memorial in Fort Myers and Sarasota Memorial in Sarasota.

Bob Simpson has a diversified background in healthcare. From 1976 until the present, he has worked in hospital systems or the provider side in capacities as Director of Materials Management, Vice President of Materials Management, in the strategic sourcing and contracting side as Vice President for large group purchasing organizations, and in the supplier side with several executive level positions. All of which led him to his current role as President and CEO of LeeSar.
