) and Lexis-Nexis Interactive Risk Solutions Group will share their expertise on the risks facing the e-commerce industry at the 11th Annual Economic Crime Investigation Institute (ECII ECII Economic Crime Investigation Institute. ) Conference here October 29-31.

This year's conference, "The Dark Side of E-Commerce: Risk & Solutions," will be held at The Ritz-Carlton, Tysons Corner, and will focus on domestic and global implications of e-crimes.

As leading authorities on the subject of fraud prevention, NFC Chairman Norman A. Willox, President James Kerins, CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  Jim Vaules and Lexis-Nexis Interactive Risk Solutions Group Managing Officer Joe Bockelman will participate in a series of sessions on the risks facing e-commerce and potential solutions.

Willox, a frequent speaker on economic crime and privacy worldwide, will serve as moderator in a panel discussion that will define the size and scope of the e-commerce problem. Kerins and Bockelman will speak on the identification and authentication risks associated with running e-business companies. Vaules will cover risks surrounding the insurance industry in a session entitled "Best E-Practices: Controlling Risks." "Keeping the Internet a safe and secure environment for conducting business is a tremendous challenge," said Willox. Willox, Kerins and Vaules will be speaking to a cross section of industries specializing in fraud prevention. Attending the two-day conference will be law enforcement personnel, risk and fraud managers, auditors, security professionals, network professionals, knowledge managers and compliance officers.
