Docent Increases Public Sector Presence With Agreement to Provide UK Government Backed English College With Web-Based Learning Solution

Docent Inc.(R) (Nasdaq:DCNT), the leading provider of integrated software solutions proven to directly drive business performance through learning, today announced that the National College for School Leadership (NCSL), based in the United Kingdom, has selected the Docent Enterprise(TM) Learning Management System (LMS) and Learning Content Management System (LCMS) for its Virtual Learning Environment.

NCSL was set up to provide a single national focus for school leadership development, research and innovation in England. It provides career-long learning and development opportunities for school leaders including head teachers and subject leaders. The concept of a virtual college, which has become the Virtual Learning Environment, was incorporated into NCSL's original design. The Virtual Learning Environment is now coming to fruition and is designed to be an essential and integrated component of the college.

The rollout of Docent Enterprise will begin in March, and over the next five years will reach 130,000 users. NCSL will use the Docent LCMS to create content and online assessments. Additional learning content will be developed by Docent content partners, including Knowledge Pool, one of Europe's leading training providers.
