National Association of Farm Broadcasters.
Ken Root, executive director of the National Association of Farm Broadcasters (NAFB NAFB - National Association of Farm Broadcasters NAFB - Nellis Air Force Base (Nevada) NAFB - Norton Air Force Base (California)), plans to end full-time employment with the association on Dec. 31, 2004. "I love NAFB, I've been attached for 30 years and I hope that I can remain affiliated and serve in some capacity as a volunteer in the future. In spite of the criticisms I've made of the current state of the broadcasting business, I love it. I know I won't be happy until I'm back in it," Root said. Jeff Nalley, NAFB president, said, "This was not a sudden decision. Ken and I have discussed his goals for the past several months. The executive committee understands and supports Ken's decision to pursue the next level in his career." The NAFB board has approved a five-member search committee, chaired by Don Wick, a past president of NAFB.
