National Alfalfa and Forage Alliance (NAFA).The National Alfalfa alfalfa (ălfăl`fə) or lucern (l sûn`), perennial leguminous plant (Medicago sativa and Forage Alliance (NAFA) was officially formed this spring at a meeting of stakeholders held in Denver, CO. The new organization, a hybrid of the existing National Alfalfa Alliance (NAA NAANomina Anatomica Avium. ) and other industry stakeholders, was formed to significantly enhance and broaden what the NAA was doing. A primary tenet of the new organization is that it is an "umbrella" organization. NAFA is administered by Co-Executive Directors Beth Nelson of Beth C.W.
