First Nations ethnicities in the province include the Cree, Assiniboine, Saulteaux, Dene and Dakota. Historically the Atsina and Blackfoot could also be found at various times. . It began as a venture between TD Bank (now TD Canada Trust) and Saskatchewan Indian Equity Foundation in 1993-94. .
