Nash Finch and Minneapolis Shrine Flyers Help Santa Deliver Toys in Minnesota.

MINNEAPOLIS -- The Nash Finch corporate aircraft and the local aviation unit of the Minneapolis Shriners combined to make Santa's job easier this year.

The Zuhrah Shrine Flyers, including Nash Finch corporate pilot, Captain Brett Lee, recently gathered (see photo) to load toys for hospitalized children in Minnesota. These toys, purchased via personal donations from the Zuhrah Flyers and bought using discounts negotiated by the group, were flown to Quality Aviation, Faribault, Minnesota for distribution in support of the "Tree of Hope" program. The donated twin engine aircraft, a Raytheon Beechcraft King Air 300, is owned and operated by the Nash Finch Company.

The Zuhrah Flyers is a group of aviation professionals and enthusiasts dedicated to the support of the Shriners Organization of North America. The Shriners Organization has more than 500,000 members and is best known for Shriners Hospitals For Children, a network of 22 facilities that provide expert, no cost orthopedic and burn care for children under 18.
