Nasal irrigation is the practice of flushing the nasal cavity with a sterile solution. The solution may contain antibiotics or steroid medications.
 device that consists of a newly patented latex-free, silicone tip and a syringe, is used with a mixture of clean water and ordinary table salt. The tip is simply pressed against one nostril nostril /nos·tril/ (nos´tril) either of the nares.
