Narus Names New Vice President and General Manager of Asia Pacific Region; Appointment Further Strengthens Narus Position in Asia.


MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. -- Narus, Inc., the leading Carrier-Class IP Platform software provider, announced it has appointed Dr. Weiming Li as vice president and general manager of the Asia Pacific region for the company.

Li is a professional with more than 15 years' experience in the information technology and telecom industry, focused on sales of complex software systems and consulting services in the Asia Pacific region.

 Division of Amdocs, a leading software vendor for billing and customer management solutions specifically targeting the telecommunications market. He was instrumental in establishing and expanding the Amdocs brand and its customer base in Asia Pacific. Under his leadership, the Amdocs sales team achieved significant growth by winning important accounts in Asia Pacific such as FarEasTone, Telstra, Maxis, Thai Mobile, Reliance and Astro. Li won consecutive sales awards from Amdocs, in recognition of his leadership and track record in sales, his understanding of the APAC market and cultural differences, as well as his extensive customer contacts and senior level connections throughout the region.
