Kaba Access Control of Winston Salem, North Carolina, has introduced the E-Plex 3000 Series Narrow Stile Lock, an electronic pushbutton lock for narrow stile aluminum-glass doors. It is designed to retrofit inside trim for Adams Rite locks, and offers 300 access codes and a 9,000-event audit trail that also records key override usage. It can be programmed at the lock keypad or with optional Microsoft Excel-based software. Installation requires no wiring to or through the door, eliminating the risk of damaged or pinched wires. The battery pack consists of four AA batteries and is located in the tamperproof base of the housing; it provides power for 180,000 cycles. 1220
