Nanocomposite prototypes via stereolithography.

What appears to be the first stereolithography (SL) rapid-prototyping material to incorporate nano-particle technology has been introduced by DSM 1. DSM - Data Structure Manager.

An object-oriented language by J.E. Rumbaugh and M.E. Loomis of GE, similar to C++. It is used in implementation of CAD/CAE software. DSM is written in DSM and C and produces C as output.
Somos, New Castle, Del. Nanoform 15120 is the latest in the company's ProtoComposite line of light-curing resins with fillers.

The nanocomposite is said to exhibit properties similar to fused-deposition modeling (FDM (1) (Fused Deposition Modeling) See 3D printing.

(2) (Frequency Division Multiplexing) Transmitting multiple data signals simultaneously over a single wire by using multiple carriers, each having a unique center frequency.
) materials and glass-filled nylon for selective laser sintering See laser sintering and 3D printer.  (SLS (Selective Laser Sintering) See laser sintering and 3D printing. ). Nanoform 15120 boasts high modulus (greater than 725,000 psi), HDT above 270 F, and low shrinkage. It requires no mixing. Tel: (302) 326-8100 * PT Direct: 945GH
