Name change.

A CHARITY for people with learning disabilities is celebrating changing its name.

Your Voice Counts is the new title for the charity previously known as Advocacy in Gateshead and South Tyneside.

It will be unveiling a new logo at a conference at The Sage, Gateshead, on February 24, starting at 10am.

Places are free and can be booked by calling (0191) 478 6472 or e-mail-ing mail@yvc.org.uk.

The charity was founded 17 years ago to stand up for the rights of people with learning disabilities.

It is committed to promoting the rights of people with learning disabilities to make choices in their lives, make use of their independence and get more help.
