Nalco realized a small gain, though full terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The sale includes Nalco's superabsorbent chemicals business, as well as the company's superabsorbent manufacturing facility in Garyville, LA. Nalco Chemical has signed a letter of intent to acquire the water treatment service chemicals business of Albright Al·bright , Horace Marden 1890-1987.
