Nabisco moves branch to Raritan Center

The Nabisco Biscuit Company has moved its Central New Jersey sales and distribution branch into 60,000 square feet of "build-to-suit" office and warehouse flex space which was completed in only seven months by Federal Business Centers.

Nabisco signed a 10-year lease with a 15-year option for the facility at 355 Clearview Avenue in Raritan Center. The company noted, Raritan Center's location at the intersection of the Garden State Parkway, the New Jersey Turnpike and Route 287, its proximity to the New York metropolitan area and Federal Business Center's ability to design and construct the new facility in only seven months deciding factors in their location choice.

A quick planning and approval process Federal Business Centers began in November of 1990 lead to groundbreaking a month later. By July, 1991, the building was ready for Nabisco's newest shipping operation.

Businesses of any size can find facilities tailor-made to their needs in the more than 300 buildings occupying nearly 13-million square feet of distribution and office/flex space at Raritan Center.

Raritan Center is home to a variety of corporate, industrial and high-tech tenants, including, Kraft Foods, Bristol-Myers, Sumitomo Corp., Parfums Givenchy, Hilti, Data General, the Marriott Corporation, Nozaki International, Baccarat Crystal, Brooks Brothers and Federal Express.
