NYARM will hold a joint fund-raiser with IREM at the Bowlmor lanes at University Place on March 1st from 6 to 9 p.m. Tickets are $90 each, and that gets you all the strikes, spares and gutter balls you can spin, along with pizza. and an open bar. There will be prizes for top scores and all the dough goes to Community Access and the NYARM playground fund for the Blue, Feather Chapter of AHRC in Brooklyn, which needs an expensive handicapped access installation. The equipment is currently on order. "We've been fund-raising for a long time, and we go there every Christmas with toys," says NYARM Executive Director Donna Klein.

The New York Association of Realty Managers (NYARM) changes its meeting format beginning Wednesday, February 16th to a three-hour seminar followed by a buffet lunch and open bar. The Realty Advisory Board's Jim Berg and Peter Finn will speak on preparing for the residential service employees negotiations.

Steve Elvaz of Esquire Management, Nelson Davis from JAD Bags, and James Harris from Lance Investigation Service will make the seminar presentation from 9 a.m. to noon at Madison Square Garden on the terrace. A gathering of the city's Jumbo Building owners, managers, architects and engineers at the Skyscraper Museum turned into an opportunity for Leona Helmsley to interview architects for her own Park Lane apartment. When last spotted by museum director Carol Willis, she was yakking with Skidmore Owings Merrill's Roger Duffy about turning her home pool into a lap job.

Among the many others that joined in the celebration with Willis and her husband, Mark Willis, who heads the Community Development Group at Chase, were Landmarks Commissioner Jennifer Raab; Stan Altman, the new Dean of public affairs at Baruch; Larry A. The new Skyscraper Museum is being designed pro bono by Skidmore Ownings Merrill architects David Child, Marilyn Jordan Taylor, and Roger Duffy, who were all on hand, as was Millennium Partners' architects for the base building in Battery Park City, Gary E. Hendel & Associates and James Stewart Poishek.

"We want the message to go out that we respect what these people do," stresses Willis. "They care about these buildings and they have the early documentation and construction photos that we want to preserve."
