NXTV Successfully Completes Delivery of Video-On-Demand and High Speed Internet Services Over Existing Telephone Wiring at Harrah's Rincon Hotel & Casino with Cisco Building Broadband Solution.

NXTV, Inc., a leading provider of digital entertainment and information services to the hospitality industry, today announced the company's first successful deployment over existing CAT3 telephone wiring. NXTV and installation partner Hewlett-Packard successfully installed the NXTV Broadband Intertainment System(TM) at the Harrah's Rincon Hotel & Casino, over Cisco's comprehensive Building Broadband solution.

NXTV's digital system has been deployed over Cisco Intelligent Ethernet and Long Reach Ethernet (LRE) Series of switches, both of which provide the quality of service (QOS) and management features that are necessary to support advanced applications such as IP video-on-demand. The system has also integrated a Cisco Building Broadband Service Manager (BBSM), which manages hotel guests' high-speed Internet connectivity and provides easy to use plug and play access.

The brand new $125 million Harrah's Rincon Hotel & Casino in San Diego, opened in August 2002, is a 200-room luxury resort offering 45,000 square feet of gaming space with more than 1,500 slot machines, 30 game tables and 6 restaurants. The hotel will be managed by a wholly-owned subsidiary of Harrah's Operating Company, Inc. and is fast on the way to becoming the premier casino in Southern California.

NXTV's Broadband Intertainment System(TM) system is qualified by Cisco over CAT3 telephone wiring using Cisco's Catalyst 2900 LRE product and also over CAT5 Ethernet using Cisco 2950, 3550 and 4000 Series of Intelligent Ethernet switches.
