NWFP Non-Wood Forest Product has approved the creation of 11500 additional police posts of various categories and grant of Special Risk Allowance for police personnel performing duties in Malakand Region. According to according to

3. the details, out of the total new police posts 6500 posts have been allocated to the districts of Malakand Region while 5000 posts have been reserved for the Elite force. The total financial implication on the creation of additional posts have been estimated as Rs. 1762.422 million and recruitment against the additional police posts will be completed in two years. Similarly, the total financial implication worked out for provision of Special Risk Allowance to police personnel working in Malakand Region is Rs. 272.592 million.
