NVIDIA(R) Corporation (Nasdaq:NVDA) today announced that Compaq(R) Computer Corporation (NYSE:CPQ) now offers the NVIDIA Quadro2 MXR(TM) workstation graphics processing unit (GPU) for the Compaq Deskpro Workstation AP250, Professional Workstation AP550, and Professional Workstation SP750. The Quadro2 MXR offers many advanced features for professionals, including NVIDIA's TwinView(TM) architecture for dual-display support, Digital Vibrance Control (DVC) for fine-tuned workspace color adjustment, and the NVIDIA Shading Rasterizer (NSR) that enables single-pass advanced per-pixel shading, as well as software optimizations for Adobe(R) Photoshop(R), AutoCAD(R), 3D Studio MAX(R), Maya(R), SoftIMAGE(R)/3D and more.
