Under the agreement, NTT-AT will distribute Axerra Networks' family of AXN Pseudo-Wire Gateways and Access Devices(TM) to wireline and wireless service providers throughout Japan. "Axerra's Pseudo-Wire solutions were a natural choice to leverage the routers and other packet products in our line-up to enable both emerging and legacy voice and data services. In addition to a wide-ranging combination of services, AXN Pseudo-Wire Gateways and Access Devices enable a greater degree of efficiency in existing networks and a smooth migration strategy to a single converged packet-based network without stranding any revenue streams from legacy services.
