NTT Learning Systems Starts Distributing NHK's Educational Programs to Mobile Phones.

 Learning Systems has started eLesson NHK NHK Nippon Hoso Kyokai (Japan Broadcasting Corporation)
NHK Nihon Hoso Kyokai (Japanese Broadcasting Association)
NHK Nihon Hikikomori Kyokai (anime) 
 Shuppan, a service to provide mobile phone users with educational content from broadcasting company NHK's TV programs and publications.

To begin with, the NTT subsidiary has introduced Hyaku go de Start! Eikaiwa (Start Studying English with 100 words) using content from a popular NHK English learning program.

The service is provided to i-mode users for 315 yen ($2.70) per month, and will be made available to Vodafone live! and EZweb users on November 1 and 10.

NTT Learning Systems is aiming to sign up 20,000 subscribers for the first year.
