 Newswire) - NTT DoCoMo, Inc. announced today that it will start marketing the BlackBerry(R) handheld device and BlackBerry-enabled service to corporate customers on September 26, 2006.

The BlackBerry 8707h operates on both W-CDMA See WCDMA.  and GSM/GPRS networks and can be used overseas for voice and packet (data) communications. Its QWERTY keyboard, similar to that of a PC, will enable fast, easy thumb typing.

BlackBerry Network Service subscribers will have access to RIM's BlackBerry Enterprise Server BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES) is the name of the middleware software package that is part of the BlackBerry wireless platform from Research In Motion.

BES connects to messaging and collaboration software (Microsoft Exchange, Lotus Domino, Novell GroupWise) on enterprise
(TM), which tightly integrates with Microsoft(R) Exchange, IBM Lotus(R) Domino(R) and Novell(R) GroupWise(R) for secure wireless access to e-mail and other corporate information.
