NTT Data Acquires Majority Share of The Revere Group for System Integration Business Expansion.

 Data International L.L.C., an U.S. holding company owned by NTT Data, signed a contract on November 11 with The Revere Revere, city (1990 pop. 42,786), Suffolk co., E Mass., a residential suburb of Boston, on Massachusetts Bay; settled c.1630, set off from Chelsea and named for Paul Revere 1871, inc. as a city 1914.  Group, Ltd., a system integration (SI) vendor based in Chicago, whereby NTT Data International will acquire 60% of the partner's outstanding shares.

Through this partnership, NTT Data will expand its system integration business, utilizing Revere's IT consulting sources and software development resources suited to manufacturing, financing, and health care industries, expanding its presence in North America North America, third largest continent (1990 est. pop. 365,000,000), c.9,400,000 sq mi (24,346,000 sq km), the northern of the two continents of the Western Hemisphere. .

NTT Data already formed an alliance with Capgemini in July to provide IT support to Japanese companies in their overseas operations.

The partnerships with Revere and Capgemini enable NTT Data not only to offer comprehensive SI services to SMEs in North America, but also to develop new customer bases.

The Revere Group aims for sales of about $60 million by 2007, while the NTT Group expects to post $120 million in North America sales by the same year.
