NTT COMMUNICATIONS CHOOSES CHECK POINT SOFTWARE FOR MANAGED INTERNET SECURITY SOLUTIONS.

Check Point Software Technologies Ltd. (Nasdaq:CHKP) has announced that NTT Communications Corporation (NTT Com), Japan's leading telecommunications provider, will incorporate Check Point Provider-1 and FireWall-1 into its new managed security "OCN FireWall Management Service" to protect the business communications of thousands of companies throughout Japan.

From its Network Operations Center, NTT Com will manage and monitor its customers' security deployments using Check Point's powerful Provider-1 management architecture. Provider-1 consolidates customer security policies into a centralized policy management architecture while minimizing investment in hardware and labor. NTT Com will deploy Check Point's FireWall-1 at customer gateways to ensure that all communications attempting to cross from one network to the other meet customer' security policies.
